Revenue Care Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Revenue Care Manager to join our team at Kuehne+Nagel. As a key member of our revenue management team, you will play a critical role in driving financial excellence and optimizing our billing and revenue functions.

Your Role

As the Revenue Care Manager, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our billing and revenue processes, ensuring compliance with international financial reporting standards, and maximizing profitability. You will lead a dedicated team of revenue care specialists, ensuring efficient and accurate financial operations.

Your Responsibilities
  • Manage QuickSTAT UK's Revenue Care function with full ownership of billing and revenue processes.
  • Lead and develop a team of revenue care specialists to ensure efficient and accurate financial operations.
  • Oversee month-end reporting for the Forwarding Sub-ledger (FSL) and coordinate with UK and USA teams within the group companies.
  • Manage customer accounts, ensuring accurate profit and loss analysis, and addressing key cost drivers.
  • Collaborate with pricing and business development teams to ensure smooth billing execution for new customers.
  • Lead the processing of cost of sales, ensuring timely billing, and resolving any discrepancies with third-party logistics providers.
  • Analyze customer tariffs, fuel surcharge applications, and gross profit margins across the company and customer P&L to optimize financial performance.
  • Manage intercompany Electronic Billing (E-Billing) and ensure the accuracy of multi-currency cost invoices.
Your Skills and Experiences
  • Previous experience in revenue management within a large organization.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team of 10+ people.
  • Strong understanding of IFRS15, revenue accounting, and operational finance.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with financial systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (professional accounting qualification preferred).
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with senior leadership and global teams.
  • Experience in logistics and supply chain management is a plus.
