Berry Recruitment is seeking an experienced Payroll and Financial Operations Executive to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing the payroll department and providing administrative support to the Head of HR.
Key Responsibilities:
- Payroll Processing: Calculate taxes, national insurance contributions, and pension deductions, and process Real Time Information (RTI) submissions to HMRC.
- Payroll Queries and Issues: Handle payroll queries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Legislative Compliance: Stay up-to-date with changes in payroll legislation and make necessary adjustments to ensure compliance.
- Payroll Schedules: Assist in the preparation of the monthly payroll schedules for salaried and casual staff in readiness for accounts team to process.
- Payroll Details: Collect and process payroll details for joiners, leavers, salary sacrifice arrangements, other individual deductions from salary, holiday payments, changes to terms and conditions of employment, and annual salary adjustment figures.
- Payroll Submissions: Prepare, check, and accurately submit the monthly and weekly payroll to the finance team.
- Personnel Records: Maintain all personnel records in an accurate and confidential manner.
- New Starters: Administer new starters, including preparation of offer letters and contracts, induction, and probation.
- Staff Leave: Record staff sickness leave, annual leave, and end of probationary periods.
Requirements:
- Experience: Experience of working on payroll processing and HR Administration.
