We are seeking a skilled Production Technician to join our team at K and D Recruitment. As a Production Technician, you will be responsible for working with minimum supervision in any area of component manufacturing, product assembly, wiring, and testing as required to meet delivery requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out component manufacturing, and product assembly to meet requirements documented in build instructions, drawings, BOM's or other related documents.
- Set up component manufacturing equipment (including EHRT, Plating line, and power presses), and product production areas, to ensure it is run efficiently and effectively to meet requirements.
- Accurately maintain production records, product records, and other records.
- Alert the Production Manager or other appropriate staff of plant or equipment maintenance issues.
Requirements:
- Previous experience setting up and using production equipment efficiently.
- Knowledge of and experience in using ERP and Teamcenter or other CAD software.
About the Role:
This is a long-term permanent position (payrolled) via the K and D for 2-3 weeks on a temporary contract before being transferred onto the client's books. The job offers good training and potential to work in different departments, increasing your skills. Salary £23,118 Hourly rate of £12.30-3 Monday - Thursday 6.30 Friday, ongoing overtime available.
