Job Description for Heat Network Project Lead

We are seeking an experienced Heat Network Project Lead to join our team at Buchanan Law. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering heat network projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

About the Company:

We are a leading recycling, waste, and energy organisation at the forefront of decarbonisation initiatives in the UK. Our organisation is advancing plans for a carbon capture facility as part of a nationally significant infrastructure project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Develop and implement project plans, budgets, and timelines for heat network projects.
  • Technical Leadership: Collaborate with technical advisors to design, commission, and test heat network systems.
  • Commercial Strategy: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, negotiate contracts, and manage financial performance.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Planning, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in planning, development, or infrastructure roles within utilities.

Estimated Salary: £70,000 - £90,000 per annum.
