About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our team at Equitas Group in Milton Keynes. As a key member of our education team, you will play a vital role in supporting teaching and learning across our schools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality lessons to classes or groups of pupils in the absence of the class teacher.
  • Support the planning, preparation, and delivery of engaging and effective lessons.
  • Work closely with teachers to assess, monitor, and provide feedback on pupils' progress.
  • Assist in developing individual learning plans and implementing tailored interventions for pupils with additional needs.
  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to ensure all students, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), make progress.
  • Contribute to the overall development and well-being of the students by fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements
  • Qualified HLTA status or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience working within a school setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently.
  • A commitment to promoting the well-being and development of all pupils.
  • Experience working with children with SEND is highly desirable.
