Job Summary

Job Description: We are seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our team in a new Autistic Spectrum Condition Unit for children with EHCPs. The successful candidate will be passionate about making a difference in the lives of our children and have experience in teaching children with ASC.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach children with ASC in a supportive and inclusive environment
  • Contribute to the development of the ASC Unit and the school as a whole
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide high-quality education and care for our students
  • Be a creative thinker and problem solver, able to adapt to changing circumstances
  • Have a strong work ethic and be committed to continuous professional development

Requirements:

  • HLTA qualification
  • Maths and English GCSE Grade C/4 or above
  • Experience in teaching children with ASC
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
