Job SummaryJob Description: We are seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our team in a new Autistic Spectrum Condition Unit for children with EHCPs. The successful candidate will be passionate about making a difference in the lives of our children and have experience in teaching children with ASC.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach children with ASC in a supportive and inclusive environment
- Contribute to the development of the ASC Unit and the school as a whole
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide high-quality education and care for our students
- Be a creative thinker and problem solver, able to adapt to changing circumstances
- Have a strong work ethic and be committed to continuous professional development
Requirements:
- HLTA qualification
- Maths and English GCSE Grade C/4 or above
- Experience in teaching children with ASC
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
