About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Community Phlebotomy Service as a Senior Healthcare Support Worker. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting patients who require Phlebotomy care within the community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work autonomously to run Phlebotomy and other clinical skilled clinics across multiple Community Hospital sites.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures to improve patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the community ambulatory care team to ensure care is safely delivered for patients.
  • Manage patient case loads and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and quality standards.

Requirements

  • Active interest in supporting patients who require Phlebotomy care within the community.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team to achieve shared goals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
