Job Title: Female Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate support worker to join our team in providing care and support to a 28-year-old young lady with an acquired brain injury and complex care needs.

About the Role:
  • Provide personal care and support with daily living activities
  • Assist with therapy exercises and activities, including hydrotherapy, gardening, music therapy, and arts and crafts
  • Accompany the client to appointments as requested
  • Work with the family and therapy team to set up a structured timetable of activities
  • Support the client to enjoy a fun and structured day, including activities she enjoys
Requirements:
  • Experience in complex care and support
  • Peg feeding and administering medication
  • Full driving license and ability to drive the client's vehicle
  • Enhanced check with the Disclosure and Barring Service
  • References and practical and online training
Working Hours:

32 hours per week, Tuesday to Friday 10:00am - 6:00pm, with other days possible by prior arrangement

Rate of Pay:

£16.00 per hour weekday hours, £17.50 per hour weekend hours

This is a non-smoking/vaping work environment. Bush & Co are acting as agents for our client.
