We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a child with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This is a rewarding opportunity to provide tailored support, helping the child thrive academically, socially, and emotionally within a supportive school environment.

About the Role:
  • Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement tailored strategies and interventions.
  • Support the child with daily tasks, ensuring a calm, structured, and inclusive environment.
  • Encourage positive social interactions and manage sensory needs.
  • Use creative and adaptable approaches to engage the child in learning.
  • Monitor progress and communicate effectively with staff and parents/carers.
About You:
  • Experience working with children with ASD or other Special Educational Needs is desirable.
  • A calm, patient, and understanding demeanor.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative when required.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

This is a full-time position, approximately 37 hours per week, with a salary of £3,700 per month.
