About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Michael Page. As a key member of our Accountancy practice, you will be responsible for driving business growth and development through proactive client engagement and relationship building.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Engagement
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, identifying opportunities to expand their services and increase revenue.
- Proactively seek out new business opportunities, networking with potential clients and partners to build relationships and drive growth.
- Develop and implement business development strategies to drive growth and revenue.
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Lead and manage a team of account managers, providing guidance and support to ensure they are equipped to deliver exceptional client service.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the team.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure team performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement plans to improve team performance and drive business growth.
Requirements
- Experience
- Minimum 7 years' experience in a business development or account management role, preferably in the accountancy or professional services sector.
- Fully qualified ACA/ACCA or equivalent.
- Proven ability to drive business growth and development through proactive client engagement and relationship building.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
