About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Transport Infrastructure Planner to join our team in Yorkshire. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in managing complex transport planning projects and leading teams to deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities

">
  • Manage client relationships and secure new work;
  • Negotiate fee proposals with clients;
  • Oversee project finances and ensure timely delivery;
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders;
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant technical, legal, and policy changes;
  • Develop and mentor colleagues within the project team;
  • Provide guidance on quality matters and technical issues;
  • Identify opportunities to 'add value' to projects.

Requirements

">
  • A degree in a related field (e.g., transport planning, civil engineering);
  • Significant experience in preparing Transport Statements and Assessments;
  • Ability to set up and run PICADY's and ARCADYS (Junctions 9);
  • Experience with LINSIG and understanding of outputs;
  • Knowledge of design standards (DMRB, MfS) and when they are applied;
  • Experience in developing access, parking, and sustainable transport strategies;
  • Understanding of S106 agreements, S278 agreements, and Traffic Regulation Orders;
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage a wide workload;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Interpersonal skills to develop working relationships with colleagues, co-consultants, clients, and stakeholders.
