Job Title: Senior Transport Planner - London

Are you a highly skilled and experienced transport planner looking for a new challenge in Central London? Do you have a passion for transport planning and a desire to work for a dynamic and forward-thinking consultancy?

Aldwych Consulting is seeking a Senior Transport Planner to join our busy team in London. As a Senior Transport Planner, you will have extensive experience of developing transport strategies and designs for a wide range of projects, including residential, commercial and mixed-use developments.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a well-established consultancy that offers a collaborative and supportive work environment. As a Senior Transport Planner, you will be responsible for developing transport strategies and designs for projects across the UK and overseas, working closely with clients and internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality results.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in transport planning, with experience of developing transport strategies and designs for a wide range of projects. You will be a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, able to work effectively with clients and internal stakeholders. Experience of working in a consultancy environment would be advantageous, as would knowledge of transport planning software and tools.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing transport strategies and designs for a wide range of projects, including residential, commercial and mixed-use developments;
  • Working closely with clients and internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality results;
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with clients and internal stakeholders;
  • Coordinating and delivering project work;
  • Providing technical expertise and guidance to colleagues;
  • Ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard and is delivered on time.

Requirements:

  • Strong background in transport planning;
  • Experience of developing transport strategies and designs for a wide range of projects;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work effectively with clients and internal stakeholders;
  • Experience of working in a consultancy environment desirable;
  • Knowledge of transport planning software and tools desirable.
