At The Compleat Food Group, we're seeking a skilled Production Operative to join our team in Poole, Dorset. As a key member of our production team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless operation of our Hot-Pie and Sausage production lines.
Key Responsibilities:- Operating Machinery: Safely and effectively operate production line machinery to produce high-quality sausage rolls and hot pies.
- Hazard Analysis: Identify and assess potential hazards to ensure a safe working environment.
- Quality Checks: Conduct regular quality checks to maintain our high standards and ensure our products are the best they can be.
- Paperwork: Accurately complete all required paperwork, including production logs and quality control documents.
- Critical Control Points (CCPs): Understand and monitor CCPs to ensure food safety and compliance with industry regulations.
- Repetitive Tasks: Perform repetitive tasks with attention to detail and consistency.
- Physical Labour: Be prepared for labour-intensive work, including lifting items up to 25kg.
- Previous experience in a similar role within food production is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- Ability to change over the machinery during product change-overs on the production lines.
- Record and check product samples correctly.
- Ability to lift up to 25kg and perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Understanding of hazard analysis and critical control points (CCPs).
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Basic paperwork and record-keeping skills.
- Positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow with us.
