Key Responsibilities:
  • Mentor and manage a team of manufacturing professionals to achieve production goals and objectives.
  • Support production planning and implementation to improve capacity and reduce costs.
  • Develop and maintain operation instructions for the shop floor to ensure efficient production processes.
  • Provide technical support for programming errors and machine errors, escalating to the maintenance team as required.
  • Improve tooling strategies and create programs for CNC machines to optimize production efficiency.
  • Collaborate with new product design teams to ensure optimum efficiency and process improvements.
  • Lead and manage a team, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and development.
  • Utilize MRP/ERP systems and have experience in CNC programming languages to drive production efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Strong engineering background and qualification, ideally mechanical.
  • Experience in CAD, specifically Solidworks.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively manage and lead a team.
  • Proficiency in MRP/ERP systems and experience in CNC programming languages.
  • Understanding of workshop processes and manufacturing operations.
