Deputy Lead Nurse

We're seeking a highly skilled Band 6 Nurse to join our Hospice at Home team as a Deputy Lead Nurse. The ideal candidate will have significant post-registration experience with children/young people, including experience as a Band 6 Nurse and post-registration experience in children's palliative/end of life care. They will also be able to demonstrate a high standard of clinical care.
The role involves working closely with the Lead Nurse to develop and deliver our services, ensuring the highest standards of care are met. You'll be responsible for managing employees, developing training programs, and maintaining an overview of care arrangements for babies, children, and young people receiving hospice at home care. Additionally, you'll contribute to leadership, development, training, and planning, and participate in on-call arrangements and 7-day service delivery.
This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate nurse to join our team and make a real difference in the lives of families in the East Midlands. Estimated salary: £42,000 - £50,000 per year.
