About the Role:

We are looking for a qualified maintenance professional with a strong track record of managing diverse teams and subcontractors. As Deputy Head of Maintenance and Operations, you will lead a professional Direct Labour Organisation (DLO) team and specialist subcontractors in delivering reactive maintenance and pre-planned maintenance (PPM) across our diverse University portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a professional DLO team and specialist subcontractors in achieving reactive maintenance and PPM
  • Ensure compliance with statutory procedures, legislation, and guidelines
  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with internal customers and contractors
  • Deputise for the Zonal Maintenance Manager as required
