Job Overview:

As a Deputy Head Housekeeper at HotelCare, you will utilize your management experience and commitment to excellence to assist the Head Housekeeper in efficiently overseeing a dynamic housekeeping department and improving team productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head Housekeeper in managing a busy housekeeping department.
  • Be the first point of contact for the Hotel General Manager and Senior Management team in the absence of the Head Housekeeper.
  • Maintain the standards set by HotelCare and our client at all times.
  • Meet daily targets and demonstrate commercial awareness and cost control capabilities.
  • Comply with all company health and safety policies and report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries.

Person Specification:

Experience:

  • Prior experience in a similar role.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in hospitality, with a focus on housekeeping operations.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • High standards and a passion for quality.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Experience working within a Housekeeping environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
  • Flexible approach to work.
  • A 'Can-do' Attitude.
  • Effective IT skills, including Microsoft Office.

  • You may be required to work different and/or additional hours of work and carry out additional reasonable tasks to meet the needs of the Company and their clients.
