Job Title: Head Housekeeper

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Head Housekeeper to join our team at The Manor House Roundhay, a brand new 65-bed care home set to open in October 2024. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our luxurious and meticulously finished care home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise a team of Housekeepers to maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the home.
  • Ensure that cleaning products are used effectively and in accordance with health and safety procedures.
  • Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to meet the needs of our residents.
  • Collaborate with the Home Manager to ensure that the home is clean, pleasant, and safe for residents.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a care home setting.
  • Knowledge of cleaning procedures, including the use of equipment and cleaning products.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
