About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Network Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at IAG Tech. As a key member of our IT department, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Your primary duties will include:

  • Supporting the design, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of network hardware, systems, and software;
  • Preparing documentation for future reference;
  • Ensuring timely communication regarding network security and other issues;
  • Working in partnership with IAG Tech and the business to resolve complex service incidents;
  • Analyzing traffic behaviors, identifying, and resolving congestion or traffic issues;
  • Performing network administration activities to ensure smooth operation of services across multiple platforms;
  • Diagnosing and supporting recovery activities for P1 and P2 incidents;
  • Reviewing and improving processes to drive automation and improve overall network performance and availability.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as a Network Engineer;
  • Strong knowledge of network protocols, architectures, and technologies, including routing, switching, and firewall expertise;
  • Experience with incident and problem management in a 24/7 global environment;
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes (certification or hands-on experience);
  • Ability to manage and troubleshoot various network devices, including access points and switches.
Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience with AWS/Cloud technologies and Ansible for automation would be beneficial, as would CISSP certification and familiarity with Windows and Linux environments.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.
