Role Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and experienced Claims Manager to join our team as Senior Claims Manager. You will be responsible for managing and supervising a team of solicitors handling RTA, EL/PL, injury, vehicle damage, and hire claims.

You will ensure compliance with Scottish civil litigation procedures and pre-action protocols, conduct regular file reviews and quality checks to maintain high standards of work, and liaise with medical experts, engineers, and other specialists as required.

You will contribute to business development initiatives and firm-wide strategic projects, ensure team adherence to regulatory requirements and firm procedures, and follow company policies, procedures, and processes.

You will also report issues, problems, and compliance breaches in a timely manner to the appropriate level of management and ensure compliance with Information Security Policies including data confidentiality and the operational security of the Information Systems used.

This role involves court litigation experience, including an understanding of Court of Session and Sheriff Court Procedures, and the ability to deal with difficult clients, communicate effectively, and give legal advice in relation to their claim.

The ideal candidate will have commercial acumen, a focus on achieving financial targets and client satisfaction, and experience in demonstrating effective teamwork within a commercial environment.

Key Responsibilities:
