Community Midwifery Team Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced midwife to lead our community midwifery team. As a Community Midwifery Team Leader, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to women and their families in the community, while also managing a team of midwives and maternity care assistants.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in midwifery, excellent communication and leadership skills, and a passion for supporting women and families in their wishes for a birth at home. You will be based in the Victoria Hospital, with the expectation of travel throughout Fife, and will be required to work on-call for births at home.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of midwives and maternity care assistants in providing high-quality care to women and families in the community
- Manage a caseload of women and provide individualized care
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure high-quality care
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care
Requirements:
- UK NMC Registered Midwife
- Education to degree level
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Passion for supporting women and families in their wishes for a birth at home
