Senior Stroke Care Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced registered nurse to join our Stroke team as a Senior Stroke Care Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver, support and manage patient-centred care within our 24-bedded acute and early rehabilitation Stroke Unit.
The successful candidate will work closely with the multi-disciplinary team to drive local and national stroke care standards. A commitment to leading person-centred, safe and effective care is essential for this role.
Key responsibilities will include managing patient care, collaborating with the team to achieve quality standards, and contributing to the development of stroke care policies. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and leadership skills, as well as a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
This is a fixed-term, full-time position working 37 hours per week, including weekends and out-of-hours shifts. The role requires flexibility and a willingness to work across different shifts and areas of the unit.
The successful candidate will be required to become a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme prior to appointment. Additionally, NHS Fife is committed to ensuring all employees are legally entitled to work in the United Kingdom. Requirements:
- Registered nurse with current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
- Experience working in a stroke unit or similar acute care setting
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work flexibly and manage competing priorities
- Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to quality improvement initiatives
