Learning Support Professional

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Teaching Assistant in a specialist school supporting students with complex learning difficulties, often associated with profound physical disabilities and/or medical needs.
Key Responsibilities:- To support students in achieving their educational and personal goals by fostering an inclusive and respectful environment
- To develop a greater understanding of Special Education issues and demonstrate the values of Aurora in all aspects of the role
- To collaborate with the team to provide high-quality support in all areas of the curriculum, including classroom, local environment, and community settings
- You must hold at least level 2 / C grade (or equivalent) Maths and English qualifications
- Ambitious and determined individual with a passion for supporting children and young people with additional needs
- Able to work effectively as part of a team and independently, with excellent communication skills particularly in relation to students' communication needs
- Full training and continued support
- Opportunity to study the Level 3 diploma for Teaching Assistants or further qualifications which will be funded by the school
- Being part of an accredited highly skilled specialist team
The estimated salary for this position is £12.78 per hour (£22,834.95 per annum).
