Horticultural Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Aftercare Manager to join our team at Fresh Horticultural Careers. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of our aftercare business, ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Organizing Aftercare Rounds
- Develop and implement efficient rotas to minimize miles and traveling time, while utilizing staff to their full potential.
- Adjust rotas as necessary to accommodate new work and ensure smooth operations.
- Make temporary adjustments to rotas for holiday or sickness cover.
- Provide support to staff as needed, including picking up tools and working on-site.
- Client Liaison and Service Monitoring
- Visit sites regularly to ensure work is completed to a high standard and meet with clients to discuss their needs and satisfaction.
- Provide advice on horticultural matters and offer recommendations for best practice.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and discuss with clients.
- Act promptly to remedy any issues with service levels.
- Ordering Materials
- Ensure staff have necessary materials and tools to complete services efficiently and to a high standard.
- Communicate with clients to determine seasonal planting needs and order necessary plants.
- Proven experience in aftercare management or a related field.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of horticultural practices and best practices.
