Job Title: Lead Program Manager

At Fresh Horticultural Careers, we are seeking an experienced and skilled Lead Program Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful delivery of our Green Team training programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee the delivery of Green Team training programs, ensuring they are completed on time and to budget.
  • Line manage Green Team Supervisors, providing guidance and support to ensure effective resource allocation and management.
  • Collaborate with the employment team to ensure all available training spaces are filled and that trainees are provided with the best opportunity to develop their skills and experience.
  • Oversee the management, training, and supervision of trainees undertaking landscape improvement and maintenance projects.
  • Ensure compliance with our clients' internal project management and H&S systems and procedures.
  • Allocate staff resources to ensure the successful delivery of Green Team training programs and landscape maintenance contracts.
  • Work closely with the employment team to build strong partnerships with landscapers and grounds maintenance companies, resulting in vacancies for our trainees.
  • Support the training team in the delivery of horticultural training and contribute to the learning of others across the organization.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in program management, preferably in a horticultural or related field.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of project management principles and practices, including budgeting and financial management.
