About the Role

Barts Health NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Neurological Physiotherapist to join our multidisciplinary team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing specialist assessment, treatment, and clinical management of clients with neurological conditions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement highly specialist Physiotherapy treatment programs for clients with neurological conditions.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary colleagues to provide integrated care for clients with neurological diagnoses.
  • Contribute to the clinical development and operational management of a team of Physiotherapists within the Trust.
  • Deputise to the Allied Health Professional Lead as required.

Requirements

  • Clinical experience in the field of Neurology, having completed band 6 rotations or equivalent.
  • Clinical experience in the NHS or similar health service across a range of acute/rehab settings.
  • Working in a Multidisciplinary or Physiotherapy Team.
  • Contributing to professional development and clinical education of more junior staff, students, and assistants.
  • Involvement in audit, research, and understanding of quality issues.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Physiotherapy.
  • HCPC Registration.
  • CRB clearance.
  • Evidence of CPD maintained in a portfolio including attendance at recent postgraduate courses/training relevant to Neuro rehab and disability management.
