Paediatric Highly Specialist Audiologist (Band 7) - Paediatric Audiology

Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a motivated and dedicated Highly Specialist Paediatric Audiologist to join our team.

The Paediatric Audiology Service is based at North Manchester General Hospital and delivers services across the community of North Manchester.

The successful candidate will be a passionate clinician with highly specialist knowledge and experience in routine and complex paediatric diagnostics and rehabilitation, including ABR.

As a key member of the team, the post holder will be responsible for leading the clinical aspect of the paediatric hearing service, including evaluation and quality assurance, and the ongoing development of the service.

The post holder will also be responsible for undertaking hearing assessments of adults and children of all ages, including routine and complex paediatric audiological test procedures.

Additionally, the post holder will lead the NHSP ABR/Complex ABR caseload and support Band 6 staff regarding ABR competencies and assessment.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of paediatric service KPI performance and will liaise with the Head of Service regarding activity.
