**Job Title:** Addiction Recovery Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Addiction Recovery Specialist to join our team at The Forward Trust. As an Addiction Recovery Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing support to prisoners aged 18 and over within an integrated healthcare framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering wellbeing & recovery interventions and structured programmes for service user cohorts across the region.
  • Working with low-level mental health needs and/or substance misuse issues.
  • Carrying out comprehensive assessments and designing SMART care plans.
  • Facilitating therapeutic groups and promoting holistic recovery and health and wellbeing.

Requirements:

  • Experience of delivering structured interventions and facilitating therapeutic groups.
  • Knowledge of accredited treatment programmes.
  • A thorough knowledge of and commitment to the 12-step process of recovery from addiction.
  • A full UK driver's license.
