About the Role

In this exciting trainee role, you will have the opportunity to support individuals with addiction issues and work towards a meaningful career in health and wellbeing. As a member of our Regional Programmes team, you will be based at HMP Highdown and work with prisoners in various prisons, including HMP Downview, HMP Send, HMP Coldingley, and HMP Bronzefield.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Shadow a team member and receive guidance and support to develop your skills
  • Work with prisoners to deliver programmes and support their recovery
  • Assess and review individual care and treatment plans
  • Collaborate with healthcare agencies and other teams to ensure comprehensive support
  • Develop your skills in multi-disciplinary working, group facilitation, and assessment
