Job Description:

The Senior Registrar will be responsible for delivering front-line statutory services in the Leeds Register Office. This includes registering births, deaths, marriages, and civil partnerships that take place in Leeds.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • This role requires flexibility and adaptability to changing demands and priorities.
  • The successful candidate will be a good team player but also able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Key Requirements:
  • To ensure the highest levels of accuracy in manual records and electronic registrations.
  • To liaise with the General Register Office regarding notices and ceremonies.
  • To manage customer payments, reconcile, and bank income according to Financial Regulations.
