About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our team at Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a Specialist Community Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in supporting adults with learning disabilities in the Windsor and Maidenhead area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work autonomously and as part of a team to plan and develop the Specialist Occupational Therapy Service in WAM CTPLD.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and review Occupational Therapy treatment plans for individuals with learning disabilities.
  • Manage a caseload of service users with complex needs, using evidence-based and person-centered principles.
  • Collaborate with clients, families, paid carers, and professionals to create bespoke care plans.
  • Provide specialist clinical advice, training, and information to colleagues, carers, and other professionals.
  • Maintain accurate client records and up-to-date CPD.
  • Work in a multi-disciplinary environment with a range of professionals.

Requirements

  • Professional Qualification in Occupational Therapy (including Masters) and HCPC Registration.
  • Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary environment.
  • Passion and creativity for working as an Occupational Therapist and collaborating with other professionals.
  • Car driver with ability and readiness to travel to multiple sites.
