About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our team at Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a Specialist Community Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in supporting adults with learning disabilities in the Windsor and Maidenhead area.
Key Responsibilities
- Work autonomously, but as part of a team, to help plan the development of the Specialist Occupational Therapy Service in WAM CTPLD.
- Assess, plan, implement, and review Occupational Therapy treatment plans for people with Learning Disabilities.
- Manage a caseload of service users with complex needs, using evidence-based and person-centered principles.
- Work alongside clients, families, paid carers, and professionals to create bespoke care plans.
- Provide specialist clinical advice, training, and information to colleagues, carers, and other professionals.
- Maintain accurate client records and up-to-date CPD.
- Work in a multi-disciplinary way with an array of professionals.
