About the Position: We are seeking a skilled SEN Teaching Assistant or support worker to join our team at an SEN school in Birmingham. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supporting children with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:

School Overview: Our client school provides education to students aged 3-11 with various learning difficulties, including Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), and Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC). Some pupils also require sensory support due to visual impairments, hearing impairments, or multi-sensory impairments.

Job Description: As a dedicated teaching support professional, you will be responsible for providing 1:1 support or working within small groups to help children achieve their full potential. You will also contribute to maintaining a safe and supportive environment for all students.

Requirements and Benefits: To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • 6 months' experience working in the UK
  • Previous experience in a similar setting
  • LEVEL 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
