Job Summary
The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Orthoptist to join our team. As a key member of our ophthalmology department, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our orthoptic clinics and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate the delivery of high-quality orthoptic services to patients across various clinics and departments.
- Lead and develop the skills of a team of orthoptists, optometrists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Collaborate with ophthalmologists, neurologists, and other specialists to ensure seamless patient care.
- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and departmental performance.
