Motor Claims Handler

We are seeking a skilled Motor Claims Handler to join our team at Verisk. As a Motor Claims Handler, you will be responsible for investigating and resolving motor claims in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Investigate Claims: Gather and analyze evidence to determine liability and confirm indemnity.
  • Negotiate Settlements: Work with customers and third-party companies to negotiate fair and reasonable settlements.
  • Manage Case Load: Prioritize and manage a high volume of claims to meet monthly targets and maintain high-quality standards.
  • Communicate Effectively: Liaise with customers, engineers, brokers, and other stakeholders via phone, email, or letter to ensure professional standards of customer service.
  • Identify Fraud: Proactively identify potential fraud concerns and escalate to management as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Understanding of credit hire laws and rules.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
