Job Description

As a Clinical Mental Health Specialist, you will be responsible for managing referrals, conducting assessments, and contributing to the development of collaborative working practices.

Responsibilities

  • Triage and initial assessment of new referrals to secondary mental health services.
  • Working in partnership with GPs, other referring agencies, and community mental health teams to provide holistic assessment and formulation for clients.
  • Contributing to the development of collaborative working practices as the Community Mental Health NHS Transformation work continues.

Essential Requirements

  • A registered mental health professional with substantial post-registration experience.
  • Previous experience working in a community setting.
  • Computer literacy and excellent communication skills.

Salary

The salary for this role is £38,890 - £44,884 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to the salary, you will also receive regular supervision and caseload management, mandatory training, access to personalized training, opportunities to access CPD activities, and a health and wellbeing program.
