Job Title: Finance Business Partner

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Business Partner to join our B2B Team at Halfords Group. As a key member of our finance team, you will provide effective business partnering and financial reporting to drive decision making across the B2B Team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the B2B Leadership team in delivering the B2B strategy, driving business performance through financial support.
  • Produce financial analysis and commentary, including weekly and monthly reporting, to provide accurate and timely information for decision making.
  • Support the B2B Leadership Teams in understanding and controlling costs, challenging where necessary, and driving operational efficiencies.
  • Hold a key role in creating budgets and forecasts for future activity, inputting into risk and opportunity processes where relevant.
  • Provide ad hoc financial information and analysis to key stakeholders to support various projects.
  • Be comfortable appraising investments and business opportunities, using financial modelling to drive decision making.
  • Present to the B2B Senior Leadership Team on matters such as monthly performance and strategic initiatives.
  • Deputise for the Head of Finance - B2B where appropriate.

Requirements

  • Dynamic and results-driven individual with a high level of energy.
  • Ability to analyse complex data to inform commercial decision making.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, able to find innovative and pragmatic solutions.
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and thrive under pressure.
  • High attention to detail in every aspect of work undertaken, ensuring accuracy of reporting and analysis.
  • Ability to build and develop good working relationships with key stakeholders and communicate effectively.
  • Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel. Ability to use PowerBI is desirable.
  • Fully qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) with experience in business partnering desirable.
  • The role is based at our Support Centre in Redditch, with a minimum of 2 days per week to be office based.
