Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Business Partner to join our team at Halfords. As a key member of our Finance Leadership Team, you will play a critical role in driving business performance and providing financial support to stakeholders across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Finance teams in delivering strategy and driving business performance through effective financial support.
  • Produce financial analysis and commentary, including weekly and monthly reporting, to provide accurate and timely information to support decision-making.
  • Work closely with the Finance Leadership Team to understand and control costs, challenge where necessary, and drive operational efficiencies.
  • Contribute to the creation of budgets and forecasts for future activity and input into risk and opportunity processes where relevant.
  • Provide ad hoc financial information and analysis to key stakeholders to support various projects.
  • Be comfortable appraising investments and business opportunities, using appropriate financial modelling to drive decision-making.
  • Present to the B2B Retail Leadership Team on matters such as monthly performance and strategic initiatives.

Requirements:

  • A dynamic and results-driven individual with a high level of energy.
  • The ability to analyse complex data to inform commercial decision-making.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment and ability to thrive under pressure.
  • High attention to detail in every aspect of work undertaken, ensuring accuracy of reporting and analysis.
  • The ability to build and develop good working relationships with key stakeholders and communicate effectively.
  • Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel, with the ability to use PowerBI desirable.
  • Willingness and enthusiasm to progress and succeed within the business.
  • Fully qualified chartered accountant with experience in property desirable.

Working Arrangements:

The role is based at our Support Centre in Redditch, with a minimum of 2 days per week to be office-based.
