About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Welding Instructor to join our team at WEC Group Ltd.

Key Responsibilities

  • To assist in delivering the Level 3 Plate Welder standard to apprentices, ensuring a smooth onboarding process and facilitating skill development.
  • Instruct and train apprentices in various welding and fabrication techniques, assessing their progress and providing constructive feedback.
  • Maintain training facilities and equipment in line with Health & Safety policies, ensuring optimal functionality and safety for apprentices.

Requirements

  • Strong and competent welder/fabricator with the ability to work effectively and use own initiative.
  • Ability to lead and manage, train others to achieve desired results, and maintain high standards of quality and safety.
  • Fully conversant with welding, fabrication, and able to read engineering drawings.
