Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the delivery of the Level 3 Plate Welder qualification to apprentices.
  • Ensure a seamless onboarding experience for all new trainees.
  • Provide instruction and training in various welding and fabrication methods.
  • Evaluate apprentices' progress and offer constructive feedback to enhance skill development.
  • Assist in monitoring and upholding workshop standards.

Essential Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Proficient and skilled welder/fabricator.
  • Must be able to pass an Enhanced DBS check, which will be funded by the company.
  • Capable of working independently and effectively.
  • Ability to lead, manage, and train others to achieve set objectives.
  • Fully knowledgeable in welding, fabrication, and capable of interpreting engineering drawings.
