About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Paediatric Registered Nurse to join our team as a Lead Nurse, providing specialist care to a young service user with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide ongoing support and supervision to Healthcare Assistants, ensuring they have the skills to manage the service user's clinical needs.
  • Deliver clinical training and identify training needs to ensure the team is up-to-date with best practice guidelines.
  • Liaise with multidisciplinary teams and attend key meetings as required.
  • Complete risk assessments and care plan reviews to ensure the service user's needs are met.
  • Assist with hands-on care, auditing, and transcribing of paperwork and MAR charts, as well as checking and ordering stock.
Requirements
  • Current NMC PIN and Paediatric Registered Nurse qualification.
  • Driver with access to a vehicle.
  • Ability to work flexibly across Monday to Sunday.
  • Experience with tracheostomy care and other complex care procedures.
What We Offer

A competitive pay rate, equivalent to £46,176 per annum, based on 24 hours per week. Hotel costs will be covered, and a contribution towards travel and meals is available.

Our service user is a happy 12-year-old boy who requires specialist care due to his complex needs. He attends school full-time with the support of his care team and enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, and listening to music.
