This full-time position is based in Wallingford, OX10 9EG, with hours of 40 per week and a permanent contract.
About the RoleAs a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the care home environment remains clean and well-maintained. This includes tasks such as fixing leaks, maintaining the gardens, and supporting the General Manager with annual budget planning.
You should have hands-on experience in property maintenance, a trade skill, and be able to undertake a wide range of maintenance tasks. A full UK driving licence, IT literacy, and GCSEs in Maths and English are also essential qualifications.
Key Responsibilities- Carrying out routine maintenance tasks to ensure the care home environment remains clean and well-maintained.
- Liaising with contractors for jobs outside the expertise of your team.
- Supporting the General Manager with annual budget planning.
- Maintaining accurate records of work completed and materials used.
