About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Emergency Lead Gas Engineer to join our team at Cadent Gas Limited. As a key member of our Emergency Response Team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of gas services to our customers.

As a Lead Gas Engineer, you will be the first point of contact for customers in emergency situations, providing expert advice and guidance to resolve issues quickly and effectively. You will also be responsible for leading a team of Gas Engineers to ensure that all gas-related work is carried out to the highest standards.

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure. If you have a passion for gas engineering and a commitment to customer service, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of Gas Engineers to ensure that all gas-related work is carried out to the highest standards
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to customers in emergency situations
  • Ensure that all gas-related work is carried out safely and efficiently
  • Develop and implement procedures to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Emergency Response Team
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure that all gas-related work is coordinated and delivered to the highest standards

Requirements
  • Strong technical knowledge of gas engineering and safety procedures
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions in emergency situations
  • Experience of leading a team and developing procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Full UK driving licence
