£60,000 - £80,000 per annum

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced academic to join our team as Director of Education Development. This role will play a key part in identifying and developing new business opportunities across the education and training landscape. You will work closely with the Head of Portfolio to ensure high-quality educational offers integrate an anti-racist, intersectional, and compassionate lens.

Main Duties:
  • Develop and implement new education and training programmes that meet the needs of the health and social care workforce.
  • Work with the commercial team to respond to bids and develop off-the-shelf courses and digital materials.
  • Line manage staff within the portfolio and support the Head of Portfolio in operational responsibilities.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Masters level qualification or equivalent plus relevant professional qualifications in one of the specified portfolio areas.
  • Membership of a relevant professional body or equivalent.
  • Advance HE Teaching Fellowship or commitment to undertake this.
