Working Hour: Full-time


Our client, a dedicated children's residential home, is seeking a compassionate and skilled Residential Care Worker to join their team.


The ideal candidate will have a sound knowledge of current legislation and exceptional communication skills, with a passion for supporting children and young people.


You will be working in a professional and supportive environment, prioritising the well-being of children/young people and employees alike.


The role is to provide high-quality care to children and young people who have experienced early life trauma, neglect, or abuse.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Supporting children and young people in their daily lives
  • Developing and maintaining positive relationships with service users, their families, and other stakeholders
  • Participating in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
  • Contributing to a safe and nurturing environment that promotes the well-being of all

Requirements:



  • Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 to 2 years in Residential Childcare and working with young people
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and build positive relationships
  • Sound knowledge of current legislation and policies
