Job Title: Senior Residential Support Worker
Location: Lancashire
Salary: Up to £37,000, including sleep-in allowance
Working Hour: Full-time
Our client, a dedicated children's residential home, is seeking a compassionate and skilled Residential Care Worker to join their team.
The ideal candidate will have a sound knowledge of current legislation and exceptional communication skills, with a passion for supporting children and young people.
You will be working in a professional and supportive environment, prioritising the well-being of children/young people and employees alike.
The role is to provide high-quality care to children and young people who have experienced early life trauma, neglect, or abuse.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting children and young people in their daily lives
- Developing and maintaining positive relationships with service users, their families, and other stakeholders
- Participating in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
- Contributing to a safe and nurturing environment that promotes the well-being of all
Requirements:
- Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare or equivalent
- Minimum 1 to 2 years in Residential Childcare and working with young people
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team and build positive relationships
- Sound knowledge of current legislation and policies
