We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Calibration Team Lead to join our ICS Mechanical team at BAE Systems.

Estimated Salary: £70,000 - £90,000 per annum

In this critical role, you will lead a team of calibration specialists and be responsible for delivering high-quality calibration services to our customers.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of quality systems and standards, including ISO 17025 and ISO 9001, and excellent leadership and communication skills to manage a team effectively.

About the Role:

  • Lead a team of calibration specialists to deliver high-quality calibration services.
  • Develop and implement calibration procedures and measurement uncertainty budgets.
  • Participate in UKAS (ISO 17025) audits and achieve UKAS signatory status.
  • Deliver on-the-job training and experiential learning to apprentices and lesser-experienced team members.
  • Collaborate with technical stakeholders to develop new measurement technologies.
