About the Company

Carrington West is a well-established structural design consultancy renowned for delivering world-class design solutions to clients in the UK and overseas. Their projects are varied and include medium to large-scale projects, encompassing high-rise RC buildings in London.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Undertake concept designs and planning projects through to construction, ensuring technical and commercial expectations are met.
  2. Lead and manage project teams to deliver projects on budget, meeting technical and commercial expectations.
  3. Manage project budgets and fees, ensuring financial stability and growth.
  4. Manage and motivate team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  5. Interact and cultivate relations with clients and other project members, ensuring excellent communication and project delivery.

Requirements

  1. BEng/MSc (or equivalent) in Civil/Structural Engineering.
  2. Chartered with CEng status ICE/IStructE (preferably IStructE).
  3. Experience of working in all main materials, including steel, timber, masonry, and concrete.
  4. Multi-storey / Highrise RC building experience is desirable.
  5. Client-facing experience and excellent communication skills are essential.
