Senior Business Development Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Development Manager to join our team at Genius Sports. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth through the sale of our programmatic self-serve and managed services, as well as our DCO technology, to brands and agencies across EMEA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and cultivate new revenue streams by engaging directly with Brands and their agencies across Genius's comprehensive portfolio of media services.
  • Foster robust, trust-driven relationships with clients, serving as a strategic advisor and comprehensively understanding their business objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with the Genius Sports Customer Success team to capitalize on all upselling opportunities within your personally cultivated client portfolio.
  • Stay informed of industry trends, competitive developments, and emerging technologies in sports advertising to inform strategic decision-making and sustain our competitive advantage.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in advertising sales, with a track record of driving revenue growth within the digital advertising industry.
  • Proven success in selling Programmatic Ad tech solutions to Brands and Agencies.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts and build rapport with clients at all levels.
