Job Overview

Stannah is seeking an ambitious Apprentice Lift Engineer to join our Maintenance and Repair division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting qualified engineers with the servicing and repair of lifts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Shadow experienced engineers to gain hands-on experience in lift maintenance and repair.
  • Attend distance learning courses and complete coursework to develop your technical skills.
  • Participate in training and mentoring sessions to enhance your knowledge and abilities.
  • Contribute to the development of your skills through off-the-job training and on-the-job experience.
  • Demonstrate your potential to become a skilled Stannah Lift Engineer.

Training and Development

  • Duration of 36-42 months.
  • A mix of practical, mentoring, and structured learning at our training centre.
  • Opportunity to achieve an NVQ level 3 in Lift Electromechanics.

Requirements

  • Achieved a minimum of GCSE Grade A-C passes in Maths and English.
  • A keen interest in engineering or practical experience working in a related role.
