Service Technician for Material Handling Equipment

Crown Equipment Corporation has been a leader in the design, engineering, and manufacturing of electric lift trucks since the 1960s. Our commitment is to deliver the safest, most efficient, and ergonomic material handling solutions available. Our extensive product lineup includes pallet trucks and very narrow-aisle (VNA) trucks.
Position Overview:
- Conduct maintenance and repairs at client locations with professionalism and cost-effectiveness.
- Document all service activities in accordance with Health and Safety and Quality standards.
- Follow a scheduled plan for service and maintenance tasks at customer sites.
- Monitor van inventory to ensure adequate stock for daily maintenance operations.
Candidate Profile:
- Possession of a full UK Driving Licence is essential.
- Proficient in diagnosing faults and executing repairs.
- Experience in workshop environments adhering to Health & Safety regulations.
- Strong organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
- Capable of working autonomously or collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in a forklift service environment is advantageous.
- Relevant engineering qualifications are a plus.
Employment Details:
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:30 with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
Company Vehicle: Provided with an option for personal use.
Leave Entitlement: 25 days annual leave plus public holidays.
